Our Client:


Our client, a leading global fund, is looking to expand its Private Equity Secondaries team in London at Sr. Associate/Associate level. The team specializes in secondary transactions with a particular focus on GP-led deals, while maintaining the flexibility to execute LP-portfolio transactions. The firm remains active through all market cycles and operates within a lean, collaborative team structure that provides significant responsibility and exposure to all members.


Role Highlights:


  • Join one of the most innovative and dynamic secondary private equity investors globally.
  • Play a key role in the growth and evolution of the secondary PE market, working on advanced and complex transaction structures.
  • Lead the execution of a wide range of secondary transactions, including GP-led deals, LP-led deals, continuation funds, fund restructurings, and strip sales.
  • Engage with a diverse deal flow, taking a generalist sector approach, primarily targeting European opportunities.
  • Benefit from high deal volumes in a rapidly expanding and fast-paced area of private equity, with increasing activity in current market conditions.
  • Gain in-depth exposure to the European private equity landscape, providing a well-rounded perspective on market trends and dynamics.

Candidate Requirements:


  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in M&A, Leveraged Finance, or Secondary Advisory/Private Capital Advisory at a top-tier investment bank.
  • Strong academic credentials from a respected institution.
  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate sharp commercial judgement.
  • Strong motivation for a career in secondary private equity investments, with a clear understanding of the industry.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and analytical rigor, supported by a strong investment mindset.
