SnapshotWe are seeking a proactive exceptionally capable and detail-oriented Executive Business Partner (EBP) to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will be an integral part of the Office of the COO responsible for ensuring the COOs time is fully optimised so they can lead effectively & show up their best within Google DeepMind & wider Google.About UsArtificial Intelligence could be one of humanitys most useful inventions. We use our technologies for widespread public benefit and scientific discovery and collaborate with others on critical challenges ensuring safety and ethics are the highest priority.The RoleKey Responsibilities:Develop a trusted 1:1 working relationship with the COO their Executive Operations Partner alongside effective relationships with the wider officeExpertly manage the COOs complex and dynamic schedule across multiple time zones anticipating needs resolving conflicts proactively and ensure timely execution of key tasksOpen to travel with the COO & staff trips as neededProject support & partner with OCOO on internal/external engagementGather and synthesise information proactively connect the dots and serve as the COOs eyes and ears on the groundThe ability to anticipate and proactively resolve issues requiring exceptional problem-solving and sound judgment.Support key meetings; circulating agendas capturing notes & actionsPrepare materials & comms on behalf of the COOBuild strong trust-based relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external partners fostering a culture of collaboration.
