Electrical Contracts Manager About the role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee and deliver electrical works on a major commercial project (e.g. fit-out, shell & core, office development, retail centre, or mixed-use scheme). This is a freelance role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors to ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee all electrical activities across the project, from planning through to completion. * Supervise site teams including electrical supervisors, trades, and subcontractors. * Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure full compliance and quality execution. * Oversee installation works, testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation. * Coordinate with other trade managers, the project management team, and clients to maintain smooth communication and progress. * Implement and enforce health & safety standards, ensuring RAMS are up to date and all operatives follow safe systems of work. * Monitor progress, manage schedules, forecast resources, and mitigate risks or delays. * Lead snagging, defect resolution, and ensure project deliverables meet specification and client expectations. * Maintain accurate documentation including r...
