### Removals Fleet Manager

**Location:** North West London

Our client, a highly renowned company specialising in high-quality moving, storage, and relocation services, is seeking a Removals Fleet Manager to assist in achieving business objectives. This is also a client-facing role, and you will be an ambassador for the company with their clients.

#### Key Responsibilities of the Removals Fleet Manager:

Fleet Management: Serve as the primary contact for all fleet-related issues.  

Operational Strategy: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop cost-efficient strategies.  

Legislation Compliance: Ensure the fleet operates within legal and regulatory standards.  

Policy Implementation: Assist in drafting and enforcing fleet operation policies.  

Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee strict maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.  

Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of vehicle inspections and services.  

Budget Monitoring: Ensure fleet costs stay within budget.

#### Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for the Removals Fleet Manager:

CPC Qualification: Required.  

Transport Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of road transport law and legislation.  

Driver Hours Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of driver hours and working times.  

Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication abilities.  

Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.  

Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail.  

Workload Management: Ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.  

Initiative: Proven ability to work independently.  

Computer Literacy: Strong skills in MS Office.

#### Additional Responsibilities:

Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and regulations.  

Vehicle Maintenance: Implement an efficient system for vehicle and equipment maintenance.  

Fleet Operation: Establish and maintain KPIs for fleet operations.  

Driver Management: Maintain driver hour records and tachographs.  

Operations Support: Assist the wider Operations team with issue resolution and efficient communication.
