Nights Duty Manager – Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre

Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre is seeking an experienced Night Duty Manager who will be responsible for the smooth operation of the hotel during the night to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction are achieved consistently.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the Nights Duty Manager will oversee the running of key functions in the hotel, as well as supporting the Deputy General Manager, in their roles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving a hand-over from the Duty Manager and ensuring that all aspects of night service are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
  • Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
  • Ensuring the night audit function is completed accurately
  • Ensuring all entrances to the hotel are locked at an appropriate time and full night security measures are followed for the safety of staff and guests.
  • Assist with the management of the hotel's nightly operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
  • Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments.

Requirements:

  • Have previous supervisory experience within the Hotel or Hospitality Industry.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Have a passion for their role within the Department
  • Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike
  • Be capable of excellent upselling all areas of the Hotel, and other hotels in the group.
