Building Control Surveyor (Class 2 - Interim Contract) Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid / Local Authority) Rate: £65 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: Initial 6-Month Assignment Hours: 37 hours per week About the Role An excellent interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Control Surveyor (Class 2) to join a progressive local authority in the Greater Manchester region. You'll play a key role in ensuring building safety, compliance and quality across a diverse portfolio of projects - from complex commercial developments to residential schemes. Working within a supportive Building Control team, you'll be responsible for plan checking, site inspections and enforcement work, ensuring statutory duties are met under the Building Act and Building Regulations. This is a hands-on, professional role suited to a surveyor who enjoys autonomy, technical challenge and a collaborative working environment.
