We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant with robust credit control experience for a 12-month contract in Sittingbourne. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is immediately available and eager to contribute to our finance team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Managing and overseeing the credit control function and ensuring timely collections.
- Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity and customer correspondence.
- Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Proven experience in credit control and finance assistance.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and finance software.
- Immediate availability to start the contract.
- Competitive annual salary of £26,000.
