Area Sales Manager

The Role:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships within the water, building services, and M&E consultant sectors. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from consultants to contractors, to provide solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet targets across your designated area (North West or West Yorkshire).
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including water industry professionals, building services companies, and M&E consultants.
- Drive new business development and manage existing accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promote a range of pumps and mechanical equipment products, providing technical expertise and tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
- Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales within the pumps, compressors or rotating machinery industry,
- Experience within clean water, building services, or M&E consultancy sectors.
- Experience of selling direct to OEMs and via distribution
- Strong understanding of technical sales and the ability to communicate complex solutions to a diverse client base.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Full UK driving license.
