Our unique blend of technology and financial services makes it an environment you wont get elsewhere.Role Description:The Business Development Specialist / Manager is responsible for identifying qualifying and initiating relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners to generate new revenue opportunities for Symphony. This role is focused on the top-of-the-funnel growth driving market expansion and scheduling exploratory meetings for the Sales organization. The Specialist requires a strong understanding of the financial technology landscape exceptional research skills and the ability to articulate Symphonys value proposition to executive and technical buyers.Key Responsibilities:Proactively research identify and target new enterprise accounts and market segments that align with Symphonys ideal customer profile within the financial services and technology sectors.Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email phone social) to engage decision-makers and key stakeholders. Successfully qualify prospects based on defined budget authority need and timeline (BANT) criteria.Schedule high-quality initial meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executive (Sales) team ensuring seamless and effective transition of qualified opportunities.Gather competitive intelligence market feedback and industry information during outreach efforts sharing insights with the Sales and Product Marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Marketing or a related field. 2-5 years of professional experience in Business Development (BDR/SDR) Lead Generation or Inside Sales preferably within the Fintech Enterprise SaaS or B2B Technology sector.Strong foundational knowledge of the financial services industry common business structures and B2B sales cycles. Familiarity with technical communication or collaboration tools is a plus.Proven proficiency in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g. Salesforce) and sales engagement tools for tracking activity managing pipelines and reporting metrics.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to engage executive-level contacts persuasively.
