About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and capable E-Commerce Purchasing Manager. This role reports to the Commercial Director and offers an excellent opportunity to develop and implement a strong strategy in a market leading ecommerce business. This is a brand new role to the Company and will interesting and rewarding.The E-Commerce Purchasing Manager will lead a small team of 6 well experienced and personable staff members. The team work a hybrid pattern, a mix of Winsford office and home locations. The Winsford office is based on the Winsford Industrial Estate, CW7 3QA. The successful candidate will be based fully on site moving on to one day at home.About the RoleMain Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and guide your team by example. Work to best practice and set high standards.Set clear individual and departmental objectives for your team, monitor progress throughout the year. Hold Quarterly and Annual Review meetings with your team members.Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the Companys values, policies and mission.Manage stock availability by forecasting requirement. Maintain stock levels, minimising out of stocks and back orders.Set stocking policies by supplier/lead time category in line with business strategy.Source and negotiate new and existing products at competitive costs, terms and MOQs....
