Business Development Representative

Job Overview:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a pivotal role in VantagePoint’s growth by identifying and engaging prospective clients and qualifying opportunities for our sales team. Reporting to the BDR Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating a robust sales pipeline, using cutting-edge tools and methodologies to connect with decision-makers and share the value of VantagePoint’s finance transformation solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to make a meaningful impact within a fast-growing consultancy.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and research prospective clients in target industries using advanced sales tools and techniques.
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage with decision-makers and schedule discovery meetings.
- Qualify leads based on client needs and handover qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions in the CRM (HubSpot).
- Consistently meet or exceed KPIs, including outreach volume, meeting bookings, and lead conversions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and VantagePoint’s product offerings to communicate value effectively.
The kind of person we’re looking for:
Technical:
- Experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within SaaS or consulting.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting platforms like Lusha or autodialers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft impactful outreach messages and hold engaging conversations with stakeholders.
