The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher who can deliver engaging and highquality language instruction. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to excel in their language skills and gain cultural insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver effective MFL lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
  • Support and motivate students to reach their language learning goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress offering constructive feedback and targeted support.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest in language education.
  • Promote cultural understanding and appreciation through the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Modern Foreign Languages Linguistics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching MFL at secondary level is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for languages and commitment to enhancing student success.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in teaching multiple languages.
  • Experience in leading extracurricular language activities.
  • Familiarity with integrating technology in language teaching.
