As a Restaurant Floor Manager at Estelle Manor, you will support the Restaurant Manager by leading by example, helping to manage the smooth operational running of service to ensure the restaurant team deliver an exceptional and memorable experience for our members and guests. You will play a key role in training, mentoring and coaching the team, with a high level of organisation and communication.
Description:
Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, theres a kids club for the little ones and a workspace.
As the countryside companion to Maison Estelle, the manor is also a hosted home, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove.
As a Restaurant Floor Manager at Estelle Manor, you will support the Restaurant Manager by leading by example, helping to manage the smooth operational running of service to ensure the restaurant team deliver an exceptional and memorable experience for our members and guests. You will play a key role in training, mentoring and coaching the team, with a high level of organisation and communication.
Who we are looking for (examples)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to get on with a diverse range of people you can quickly understand, influence and negotiate, as well as document and explain complex requirements to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience managing the daily operations, set up, standards, operating procedures
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines.
- Someone who takes responsibility and initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas with creative thinking
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests
- An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset and hugely charismatic
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail
- A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
On target potential earnings inclusive of tronc is projected between £40,000 and £44,000 per annum for this role. This is made up of a base rate of £32,000 annum, plus inclusion in our tronc scheme
