Acting Senior Early Childhood Educator (Part Time 21 hours) Cowie Nursery – Temp until 27 June

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Early Childhood Educator to be part of the team at Cowie Nursery. As a Senior Early Childhood Educator, your main purpose and objectives are to lead with and deputise for the Principle and Head of establishment in the management of the service for the benefit of all children and the wider community. You will enthusiastically lead the management, planning and implementation of a flexible, high quality early learning and childcare service which is appropriate to the needs of children and their families in the nursery and the wider community.

We are looking for a Senior Early Childhood Educator who will confidently lead and support excellent practice and teamwork across the nursery, facilitating, and coordinating curriculum planning and curricular developments in line with Local and National policies and procedures.

You will inspire, motivate, support and challenge colleagues in the development of their own practice. You will hold or be willing to work towards a degree level qualification in the following: BA in Childhood Practice or equivalent PDA, Certificate, Diploma in Early Childhood studies or other relevant advanced qualification. Working days will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the post.

This is a temporary acting post. The applicant must be able to work between the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm on a rotated shift basis.
