Overview – Planning & Projects Officer

This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered planner or an experienced planner working towards

chartered status to join our team. You will lead projects, develop training programmes, and support our Advice Service, helping people to navigate and engage effectively with the planning system.

You will manage projects, collaborating with internal and external partners to create innovative solutions for communities and key stakeholders. You will lead participatory processes to encourage participatory community engagement in line with our vision for an accessible and inclusive planning system.

In addition, you will help to develop and deliver training programmes to support stakeholders, including community groups, local authorities, and public sector partners. Using your facilitation skills, you will lead workshops and events and occasionally support our Advice Service, which provides planning advice to individuals, communities, and business start-ups across Scotland.
