Description and requirements

We are looking for a Digital Construction Manager to join our Building team, to manage the implementation and delivery of both information management and digital technology processes on one of our large projects, based in London.

Established in the UK in 2000, Skanska has more than 3,300 local experts delivering projects across sectors including real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water. Our Building team have created inspiring places to work including Norton Folgate in London and Unity Place in Swindon. We create innovative and sustainable solutions that support healthy living beyond our lifetime.

This is a key role in the successful implementation of digital technologies to support productivity benefits on our projects.

What you'll do:
  • Support the development of the BIM Execution Plan including supporting resources during both pre-appointment and post-appointment.
  • Manage and implement Skanska's Information Management Workbook in collaboration with design management, commercial, planning, information control, carbon, fire, and external project teams.
  • Manage and support consultants and supply chain by ensuring compliance of delivery against the production, methods and procedures defined within the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Mobilise project information technologies in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Mobilise project information and digital technologies in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Strong knowledge of the UK BIM framework, ISO 19650 and other information management standards.
  • Enough knowledge of the built environment to be able to work with teams to define information requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in the delivery of information management, particularly IFC.
  • Highly skilled in using Autodesk suite of products and other software's such as Solibri, Revizto, and site-based tools such as progress monitoring and field management.
  • Experience working with Office 365 suite including PowerBI is ideal.
