This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced RE teacher to join our school and take on the role of Year Leader.

Our Care Guidance and Support Team is strong and well supported.   This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of the young people in our school.

Thornleigh Salesian College is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school that serves the north of Bolton.   Our school is defined by our Catholic Salesian ethos and our commitment to ensuring that our students ‘know that they are loved’ shapes all that we do.   We have high expectations across our community and we provide the necessary support to ensure all can achieve their potential.

Our continuing professional development programme for staff is strong ensuring that all staff have access to high quality in-house provision along with multiple NPQ and leadership development programme.   Our pastoral team are currently working with an external provider to develop a trauma enhanced approach to working with students and families.
