  • The current role is for an experienced social worker who will work within the Complex Safeguarding Team.
  • This team is a small specialist team supporting children at risk of child exploitation.
  • The right social worker will have experience of working with children and young people supporting their care plan to reduce risk , and undertake specialist assessment, and interventions to reduce the associated risks for this group of young people.
  • They will be responsible for a small caseload working alongside the allocated social worker , so could be working with children we look after, children subject to CIN or CP.
  • You will be working closely with the police within the team and focusing on prevention, management of risk and disruption.
  • You will be supported by the Complex Safeguarding Lead.
