Specialist Teacher to lead the provision of The Hive, the Enhanced Provision Unit based at John Clifford School

Fixed Term September 2024 until August 2028 with a view to extending further subject to funding.

John Clifford School is supported by Nottinghamshire County Council in leading and managing a Enhanced Provision Unit for a small cohort of primary children from local partner schools. 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed teacher with experience of working with young people with specific needs in either a specialist or mainstream setting. This successful candidate will seek to lead on high quality teaching across the core areas as well as providing a focus on nurture, social and emotional skills and therapeutic support.

• The desire to read and be informed by research and best practice.
• A commitment to make a difference to diverse learners from across our schools.

This position is ideal for a qualified teacher, looking for a unique opportunity to gain experience in supporting individual needs, working with professional agents and gaining a developing insight into management and leadership. This opportunity is open to full and part time members of staff and will be paid on a pro rata basis.
