As our Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the physical integrity of our hotel and ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel maintenance.

More about the role:
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Coordinate and perform routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure their training and performance meet our high standards
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and systems
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to prioritize and address maintenance requests
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and expenses effectively
  • Source and manage relationships with external contractors when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for the maintenance team
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and participate in an on-call rotation
Who you are:
  • Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and facilities maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus
