As we continue to deliver The Plan for North Lanarkshire and drive transformational change across the council, it is vital that maximise every opportunity available to us to deliver the highest standards of service, performance and best value to our communities.
We are seeking a new Social Value Manager to lead the creation, implementation and ongoing monitoring of a revised approach to achieving more social value from our procurement activity. This post will also play a vital role in driving consistency across the council’s services and delivering significantly improved outcomes.

Moreover, its successful delivery will be critically dependent upon innovative and collaborative partnership approaches, with co-production required across a wide range of services and stakeholders, both internal and external to realise the full social and economic benefit of this work for our critical growth sectors and our wider economy.
Knowledge of local government, community development and the current policy landscape is key for this post, and we are looking for a candidate who is suitable qualified but more importantly deeply committed to fostering positive change within the community.
