Hours: 35 hours

Stirling Council are looking to recruit an experienced mental health officer to a busy and supportive integrated mental health team in Stirling City Centre. We welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals who are looking for an opportunity to join our integrated CMHT which covers both urban and rural Stirling areas.

The post holder will undertake statutory MHO duties under the Mental Health, Adults with Incapacity and Criminal Justice Acts and be expected to carry out some care management work for people with mental ill-health.

The essential criteria for this post is a degree in Social work, registration with the SSSC and a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Officer Studies.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG for adults & children). If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be invited to complete the application and have your details verified.
