The job itself

Lady of 47 years with learning difficulties living in Bridlington, is looking for a female social activities support worker for 16 hours per week, more hours may be available if interested.

Lady needs encouragement and support with a healthy lifestyle, she exercises regularly this includes walking, swimming and going to the gym and she requires support to do this. Also enjoys arts and crafts, and needs to be motivated by someone, who has a friendly and patient nature. Support with personal care is needed at times.

It would be advantageous for applicants to have experience in working with adults who have learning disabilities.

Applicants must be flexible, honest, and reliable. It is essential that applicants are motivated and able to use their own initiative whilst supporting this lady.
