£33, to £36, per annum

This salary includes £2, Market Allowance, which is in place until the outcome of Job Evaluation is confirmed and then will be reviewed. 

West Lothian College is looking to appoint an Instructor in Construction to join the faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment. This is a vibrant and fast moving environment, committed to providing high levels of learning to industry and individuals. Our programmes offer a wide range of engineering learning from SCQF level 5 up to Higher National Diploma level.

The successful candidate must be educated to SCQF Level 7 (Advanced Craft Award or equivalent) and SVQ Level 3 or equivalent, both in a relevant subject. There must also be evidence of relevant industry experience and craft skills.

Working for the college you will benefit from a generous leave entitlement, career average pension scheme, excellent on-site facilities such as gym and restaurant, together with transport, health, wellbeing benefits and retail discounts. The college is located within the town centre with an array of shops and restaurants all within a few minutes walking distance.

Those shortlisted will be required to complete a 10 minute practical lesson in the workshop as part of your interview.

Interviews will take place onsite at West Lothian College on Thursday 19th September .
