Our Roads team has a full-time vacancy for an individual with experience of often managing site-based construction work covering highways and transportation projects specifically within the Liverpool City Region. The team is highly successful and growing as workload is increasing and our clients are giving us significant opportunity to be involved in strategically important schemes across the UK and beyond.
Job Duties:
The NEC Project Manager will work with a small team of site-based individuals. In addition to the role responsibilities listed below, AECOM operates its own project manager accreditation training, and this will be provided. Key areas to cover in the role are;
- Being responsible for managing project manager duties required for successful NEC contract administration
- Provide project management support including review of programme, assessment of Defined Costs and contract administration
- Conduct progress meetings
- Conduct commercial meetings
- Conduct risk reduction meetings
- Undertake project / programme analysis and project reporting
- Have a thorough understanding of highway standards and quality management
- Risk identification, risk management and risk reduction
- The use of IT packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and
- Any ad hoc duties commensurate with the grade
- Experience working as an NEC Project Manager
- Have experience working on municipal engineering infrastructure projects, such as highways and transportation
- Extensive knowledge of NEC forms of contract
- Have a degree in a construction or project management related discipline.
- Have attained the NEC3 or NEC4 ECC Project Manager Accreditation
- Design capability
