As a Regional Working Capital Inventory Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and analysing our inventory to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Segmentation & Analysis:
    • Perform 12 block segmentation to categorize inventory and provide insights for management.
    • Develop and track key inventory metrics to drive efficiency and lower inventory levels.
  • Inventory Health & Reporting:
    • Maintain the NIMD - Transactional Health Scorecard for continuous monitoring.
    • Conduct Work In Progress (WIP) aging reviews to preempt delays and prevent obsolescence.
    • Provide monthly analysis of inventory health, focusing on raw materials, finished goods, and work in progress.
  • Inventory Management & Optimization:
    • Oversee NIMD - Inventory Relocation, ensuring optimal inventory distribution.
    • Facilitate 10 to 12 inventory reduction exercises annually, supporting Demand-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various teams to implement inventory strategies and improvements.
    • Review and recommend redeployment opportunities across locations to optimize utilization.
  • Reporting & Summaries:
    • Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly summaries, highlighting inventory impacts and actions.
    • Support the overall inventory reduction goals through analysis and actionable insights.
  • Compliance & Policies:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies on purchasing, health & safety, and quality standards.
    • Fully accountable for achieving relevant KPIs and supporting business objectives.
  • Travel & Flexibility:
    • Travel as needed (10-20%) to collaborate with teams and oversee inventory management processes at various locations.


Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related).
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
  • Expertise in data analysis tools and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Incorta, or Cognos.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Desirable:

  • Secondary qualification in business reporting using commercial tools.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on mentoring and professional development.
