What will you be doing?

This role is 50% cleaning and 50% waste operative. We will provide FLT training if needed.

  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas including working in male and female washrooms across site
  • Safe handling of all hazardous waste & waste materials
  • Assist in the segregation, packaging and labelling of wastes for transport and disposal
  • Conducting regular inspections of storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Assisting with any process area chemical deliveries or associated Haz Waste bulk/ or general waste/recyclable collections
  • Collect effluent samples on a weekly basis
  • Monitor/collate and relay the levels of Haz waste/recyclables and non recyclables daily


What are we looking for?

  • Similar operational manual handling experience
  • Willingness to achieve or obtain chemical knowledge specific to the client
  • Good health & safety knowledge


Desirable - FLT licence, hazardous waste experience and experience using T3,T5 & T30 cleaning and buffing machines. Environmental knowledge
