An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the improvement of educational outcomes for children and young people in North Lanarkshire.
As Senior Education and Families Manager (Education) you will be an integral part of the Education and Families Directorate and will contribute to the achievement of an ambitious programme of work, ‘We Aspire’, the Plan for North Lanarkshire.
As well as substantial experience in education and significant experience in leadership roles, you will have a proven commitment to partnership working, which will enable you to lead the Support around School and Community team. This team includes a range of professionals and partners and has the responsibility of planning and implementing a transformed, integrated approach to service delivery.
Reporting to a Chief Officer (Education & Families), you will also have lead responsibility for a range of strategic and operational Service functions, which will include:
