Equities - ESG Integration

This is a great job for someone who is a great technical, peoples' manager who is passionate about designing and developing high-impact integration strategies for equities that drive enhanced investment performance, through relevant, timely and targeted ESG research.

A bit about the job:

As the Head of ESG Integration - Equities, you will develop and lead the execution of Aviva Investors' ESG integration strategy for the equities franchise and support the delivery of Aviva Investors commercial objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about thematic research, with a strong desire to be involved in the investment process. You will be responsible for delivering high quality thematic research and ensuring the integration of ESG considerations into investment decisions. The individual must also have a desire to mentor, drive and upskill the team.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • A track record of designing and developing high-impact integration strategy for equities that drive enhanced investment performance, through relevant, timely and targeted ESG research.
  • Develop and disseminate high quality ESG thematic research and sectoral insights, which support the equities investment process, idea generation and portfolio managers' decision-making.
  • Work closely with portfolio managers and equity analysts to help further their understanding of ESG issues as well as enhancing accountability and evidencing of integration.
  • Develop asset class relevant engagement programs in collaboration with the equities team and the Stewardship team, whilst strengthening AI's commercial position on sustainability through the generation of ESG integration and engagement stories that showcase enhanced client outcomes.
  • Build a high-performance culture within the ESG Integration - Equities team and build cohesion around Aviva Investors' ESG vision, whilst promoting Aviva Investors ESG leadership externally

In this role you'll be 'Certified' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we'll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we'll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain 'fit and proper' and competent to carry out your role. We'll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
