We have a fantastic opportunity for a person with experience in an electrical/automation & control technical role to pass on your skills, coach the next generation of engineers and contribute to the commercial development of our apprenticeship services and education portfolio.

This person will join a team of experts in promoting and facilitating Siemens Digital Industry Apprenticeship Services currently based upon the Level 6 Control Systems Engineer (ST0023) apprenticeship standard developing a sustainable pipeling of future talent for our customers.

Ideally based around the Greater Manchester area, we are a national training provider and travel will be required to support apprentices at their place of work and our subcontroact delivery partners.

You'll make an impact by

  • Coaching of on-programme apprentices through their apprentice journey from induction to preparation for End Point Assessment
  • Agreeing a programme of development and assessment, setting realistic but challenging goals that meet learners' and employers' needs
  • Carrying out effective and timely learner reviews
  • Liaising with employers, colleagues and others to support learners' development
  • Signposting appropriate support, give timely feedback on progress towards mastery of relevant skills and knowledge
  • Providing access to pastoral support and guidance
  • Having a pro-active approach to embedding Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values
  • Driving employer support for Apprenticeship candidates
  • Attending required training sessions to enhance knowledge and adhere to CPD requirements
  • Maintaining knowledge of apprenticeship standards, modes of delivery and funding rules
  • Developing new apprenticeship opportunities through our existing customer base
You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

Sound working knowledge and experience in electrical control systems including PLC's, HMI's, SCADA, industrial communication networks and variable speed drive applications

It would be great if you were: Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1 or TAQA, have knowledge of apprentice standards.
