An initial one-off lump sum Welcome/Retention payment of £1000 (pro-rata) is attached to this post payable in your first salary. If you voluntarily leave the Council’s employment within 12 months, you are required to repay some or all of the payment (Terms and conditions apply). Do you have the ambition and drive to work positively with people, promoting choice and control to encourage their independence in personal care, mobility, medication, making meals, whilst working to their personal service plan? Understanding the needs of older people, including those with dementia, is an important part of the work.  Could you make a difference to someone’s life.

You don’t need to have previous experience of care work or qualifications as we offer structured training to ensure our care workers receive what they need to flourish and progress in their social care careers
