Organ / Piano Teacher (Peripatetic)

Woodbridge School - Woodbridge, IP12 4JJ £29.25 per hour (Employed) or £39.11 per hour (Self Employed*) Salary dependent on employment status 5 hours per week (approximately) during term time. Zero hours contract  Reference: 0642 Required from September 2024.

Your role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate self-employed or employed Organ / Piano Teacher to teach individual organ / piano lessons to pupils on site at Woodbridge School. 

You will have a background in music and a genuine passion for the subject, ideally with experience of teaching organ / piano in a school. We have a strong and dedicated staff body and excellent facilities, and you would be joining a warm and friendly working environment. You will be expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life at the school.

Your responsibilities

Teaching lessons on a one to one basis  Preparing pupils for examinations when required Providing feedback to parents on progress throughout the year.

You will need:

Grade 8 or equivalent on the organ and piano university or conservatoire degree in music or performance experience of working within education or with young people.
