Reporting to the Director of Legal, you'll shape our legal landscape, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and driving strategic negotiations. If you're a qualified solicitor with a passion for balancing legal acumen with business priorities, we're eager to welcome you aboard

We also know that, when it comes to school pick-ups and home deliveries, it's nice to have the flexibility to do both.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguard legal interests in commercial dealings with suppliers.
  • Craft and negotiate strategic supplier contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection regulations.
  • Uphold marketing and promotional compliance standards.
  • Provide counsel on disputes and lead settlement negotiations.


Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor with 10+ PQE in commercial law.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Adaptability to meet evolving demands.
  • Ability to work at Screwfix Head Office in Yeovil 3 days per week.
  • Retail experience, preferably in FMCG, highly desired.
