Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Communications Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing internal and external communications ensuring our messages are clear consistent and aligned with our brand identity. This role involves content creation media relations social media management and supporting various communication initiatives to enhance our public image and engagement with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Media Relations:

    • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts.
    • Coordinate media requests and facilitate interviews with company representatives.
    • Monitor media coverage and prepare press clippings.
  2. Social Media Management:

    • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across various platforms.
    • Create schedule and post engaging content.
    • Monitor social media channels for feedback comments and questions responding promptly and professionally.
  3. Internal Communications:

    • Support the development and dissemination of internal communications materials including emails memos and presentations.
    • Assist in organizing and executing internal events and meetings.
  4. Crisis Communication:

    • Assist in developing and executing crisis communication plans.
    • Act as a point of contact for urgent communication needs and manage communication flow during crises.
  5. Event Coordination:

    • Assist in planning and coordinating company events including press conferences product launches and community outreach activities.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
