The vacancy

If you have experience of working in hospitality, enjoy working with people of retirement age and are passionate about providing excellent customer service - you belong at Bromford.

This role would be ideally suited to you if you have spare time in your week to cover shifts, sometimes at short notice. Your purpose is to provide ad hoc support in our restaurant and bar at our Beacon Park Village residential scheme. You'll focus on meeting and greeting customers in the bar and restaurant, taking food and drinks orders as well as keeping everything tidy.

You'll need to bring excellent customer service and communications skills, be friendly and approachable as well as a natural at forming relationships with people. Ideally you will have experience of working with older people or in a similar environment as well as working in a kitchen.

This role is available as a zero hours contract working in our retirement living scheme, Beacon Park Village in Lichfield, WS13 6JN. A basic DBS check is required.

We want you to be somebody who:
  • Has experience in hospitality, ideally with experience of working within the food and drink sector of an older person's scheme, or similar
  • Is friendly and approachable
  • Has excellent customer service skills
  • Is a proven performer, you'll enjoy a challenge and have plenty of initiative
  • Is a natural communicator and relationship builder
  • Demonstrates our DNA and will be a great ambassador for Bromford.

If you have previous experience as a waiter/waitress, waiting staff, bartender, front of house, food and beverage assistant, bar assistant, or something similar, we would love to hear from you.
