Adult and Communities Services have 4 Localities across Suffolk. In this role you will be part of a locality-based team where you will be supporting the Area Business Manager who is responsible for all Business and Finance teams and sites within their Locality.
The team that you will be part of, will be responsible for supporting some of the most vulnerable adults in Suffolk offering services such as social services, occupational therapy professionals, helping people to maintain independence to stay at home, mental health and learning disability services, commissioning, and contracting functions.
Your role and responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to line manage a team of Business and Finance Administrators working in the localities, setting work priorities, resolving issues, recruitment, and performance development reviews. You will be responsible for ensuring that Business and Finance staff are aware of and comply with Suffolk County Council’s procedures for financial and business performance process. As well as working closely with the management team to assist the implementation of changes to improve working practices, introducing new processes, and monitoring effectiveness within your team.
You will need
experience dealing with process management line Management experience (desirable) or equivalent knowledge and experience a good attention to detail experience in dealing with financial and budgeting tasks experience in all Microsoft Office and Outlook functions.You can view a full list of requirements in the .
