Through our Step In Apprenticeship Programme we have an exciting opportunity to join our Digital and Technology Service at Devon County Council located in Exeter.

The duration of the Apprenticeship contract will be 4 years. You will work towards a BSc Digital and Technology Solutions Degree, with an opportunity to specialise in either:

Business Analysis IT Consultancy Cyber Security Software Engineering Or Data Analysis


This will be supported by a combination of training and practical work experience. This programme uses a blended approach to teaching with on campus teaching blocks at Exeter University and online learning.

In your working day you will support a team who are :

exploring the needs of our users understanding how these needs can be met and recommending how those needs can best be met.


The role will involve doing administrative tasks, working with other organisations and suppliers on research and writing down the results to start new projects that can purchase or develop appropriate digital and technology solutions.

We offer a highly competitive starting salary of £24,702 per annum, 26 days holiday, flexible working arrangements, work experience, a funded degree and entry into a pension scheme.
