The Role

As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports a gentleman in his forties. Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs as well as taking an active part in their interests. This gentleman in particular enjoys gaming, the cinema and going on long drives and day trips around Scotland. So an interest in these in beneficial but most importantly you should be You should be patient, understanding and motivating

About you

For these opportunities, we're ideally looking for people who have experience in caring or supportive role and have confidence to manage behaviours that can challenge. However, you will undergo comprehensive training for the specific team you'd be working in. We will also need you to hold a full, clean driving licence with a minimum of a year on the road, as the people we support have their own mobility cars.

If you don't already have your qualification in Health & Social Care, we'll fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and we'll also pay your yearly SSSC registration fees too

What we need you to be:-

Positive, caring and compassionate Honest, reliable and trustworthy Good at communicating and listening A good team player, but also confident to work on your own initiative Confident in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

Shift times can vary from 10am-10am but can be split to include day shift and also sleepovers.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
