Job Description

The Job Mission

As the HVAC - Configuration Engineer, you will support the configuration management of the HVAC End-To-End sequence. Your role is crucial in maintaining design stability and maximizing design maturity. Reporting to the HVAC Configuration Lead, your responsibilities include:

Liaising with the HVAC Configuration Lead to ensure compliance with the Project level Reference Configuration
Supporting the preparation of the HO1/HO2/HO3 Maturity and Engineering Readiness Reviews
Administering the MEH CoMET/SWITCH configuration tool
Providing visibility to the Engineering Manager on the maturity of design packages
Tracking and closing out Post-Handover Open Points
Developing and managing KPIs on the performance of RD and Execution Designers

Qualifications

Essential Skills:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or qualified by experience
Experience in a similar or related role in relation to HVAC
Experience working to industry standards (BS, EN, ASME)
Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms
Ability to influence diverse stakeholders

Desired Skills:
• Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status or working towards it
• Understanding of PWR design would be advantageous
• Familiarity with CDM Regulations
