Growth and Development Projects Officer

Permanent Contract | £32,076 to £33,945 per annum (Scale H) | 37 hours per week | Norwich
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the delivery of economic strategies and investment plans, in order to support economic growth in Norfolk.
You will also work on a range of projects across the County Council’s Economic Development team, at the same time as working towards the completion of two-year Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship.
The Growth & investment Projects Officer will work with partners within NCC and external stakeholders, to gather economic data to support project concepts and provide an evidence base for key interventions and future project development.
You will support the development of business support projects, aligned to the Norfolk Economic Strategy. You will work closely with key stakeholders involved in development of Norfolk’s key sectors or providing business support to Norfolk SMEs.
It will be an advantage to have research and analytical skills, and knowledge of national and local economies; how they work, current drivers to direction of travel and the inter-relationships and consequences of those drivers.
