What will you be doing?
• Being responsible for maintaining and managing workstream documentation, facilitating key initiative governance fora, reinforcing the accountabilities of key stakeholders
• Taking responsibility for ensuring decisions are made by the right people and based on the correct information
• Supporting the the Programme Management Office and Project Managers in tracking outcomes, ensuring planned outputs deliver the agreed outcomes and the outcomes remain relevant
• Driving best practice delivery in line with the relevant Policies and Standards through coaching and educating delivery teams on what good looks like
• Monitoring and driving improvement in data quality and timeliness of reporting to enable decision making; reviewing and challenging reports to ensure they are complete and accurate
• Supporting environment of effective delivery by challenging behaviours; identifying development needs in the team; ensuring the right tools, templates and guidance are used
• Providing constructive challenge to Programmes and Projects, not only providing the information initiatives need to make the right decisions, but helping initiative leads to pre-empt any issues
• Building trusted relationships with a network of key stakeholders that help influence project outcomes, acting as an advocate for the change and joining up executives and delivery teams

What we're looking for:
• Ability to effectively communicate, influence and manage stakeholders at all levels, taking account of their levels of influence and interest; with great interpersonal skills
• Large scale project management and governance experience in a fast paced environment
• Proven MS Excel and Powerpoint skills, ability to work to short deadlines
• Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements
• Professional qualifications (e.g. P3O, Prince or other Project Management methodology)

Where will you be working?

Our new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration. A place where everyone can bring their true selves to work and reach their full potential. You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
