Job summary
The job holder will be part of the Quartermaster Department team within Blandford Garrison. This team completes a wide range of functions but the primary is to provide support to 11 (RSS) Signal Regiment Phase Two and Three training, ensuring all training resources are available from accommodation to stationery and training equipment. In addition to ensuring the training estate is maintained and the correct equipment is supplied to the instructors, the Quartermasters Department looks after both the hard and soft facilities management of all areas of Blandford Garrison.

Job description
Assisting the Technical Facilities Manager (TFM) Squadron Quartermaster Sergeant (SQMS) with the day to day running of supply and/or removal furniture within technical and living accommodation (1300+ bed spaces and c. 25 office blocks). This includes all aspects of Hard and Soft Facilities Management within technical areas of Blandford Garrison and will include manual labour under the direction of the Quartermaster, TFM SQMS or Line Manager. The role will also involve assisting the TFM SQMS with the movement of Dangerous Goods ( ammunition). A part of the role will also include guiding two additional locally employed labourers, monitoring Health and Safety and task management.Person specification
