Job Purpose: The ICT Senior Solutions Analyst will work as part of the ICT Business Applications Team, engaging with the Council’s business units to drive and support technology enabled business change throughout the Highland Council and helping bridge the gap between business requirements and technology.
Focusing on efficiently delivering both internal and external customer outcomes, the ICT Applications team plays a critical part in the Council’s work to digitally transform service delivery and support the strategic requirements defined in the ICT Services Strategy.
The team is responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the Councils application portfolio and interfaces between systems. This includes managing changes and/or improvements as required while supporting the design, build and delivery of new ICT solutionsto improve business practices and the utilisation of technology. The scope of the applications is wide ranging covering for example the provision of the Council’s online services, customer relationship management, HR systems, internal service desk and financial management systems.
This post will have supervisory responsibilities within the team and would be expected to have a higher level of knowledge and experience and act as subject matter expert for specific aspects of the Council’s technology.

Requirements
Educated to degree level in a numerate/business/digital and technology related subject; or Significant experience in a Digital service delivery or change management role within a large complex organisation; or Extensive relevant proven experience that demonstrates a similar level of knowledge and understanding.
