LEAD PRACTITIONER FOR SEND AND INCLUSION
Part - Time 0.8 (4 days to be decided upon employment)
Salary – Leading Practitioner Point 1 – 6 Pro Rata Salary £37933.60 to £42913.60

Manchester Road are excited to be seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our busy inclusion team. This is mainly a non – teaching role (0.6 out of 0.8) as we believe time and care is needed in order to ensure that the children with SEND at Manchester Road have the very best offer possible. The role will involve being part of an inclusive school, with a much higher than average percentage of children with an EHCP, and children who have a variety of needs. The leader will be at the centre of our SEND provision and will develop a fabulous knowledge of the staff, children and families across our whole school.
The one day teaching aspect to this role will involve being part of our early years team in order to get to know families early and to aid with one of our key principles of early identification. We thoroughly believe that getting to know families early paves the way for the rest of the children’s experiences through school.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a great knolwedge of the SEND code of practice
Is experienced in teaching and learning and leadership activities
Has a passion for ensuring children with SEND and their families are well supported
Can maintain the positive ethos of our school and promote teamwork at every opportunity.
