Position Purpose:

Oversees maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer service standards, and equipment maintenance. Manages all maintenance functions including preventative and emergency maintenance.

Key Job Activities:
  • Ensure plant maintenance and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Conduct predictive analysis of systems and equipment for Preventative Maintenance updates.
  • Manage hiring, training, and development of Maintenance Engineers.
  • Oversee contractors' work quality and compliance.
  • Manage troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain power tools and ensure proper use.
  • Engage in out-of-hours engineering support when needed.
Education:

Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Certifications/Licenses: Various technical certifications related to health, safety, and maintenance.

Experience:

5+ years of supervisory experience with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of power wiring, high temperature processes, and maintenance of control devices.

  • Experience with high pressure boiler operations and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of air pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
