Cost Controller

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Controller on our ASTI projects based in Aberdeen.
Please note: This is a flexible position for the preferred candidates, it may be project based or office based but site travel would be required, within this role you'll report directly to the senior finance manager.
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license would be required. What you'll be doing
As a Cost Controller you'll:
Assist the project team with cost queries and gaining back-up/validation to costsSupport Commercial function by ensuring correct cost allocation and running of weekly cost reportsConducting variance analysis of actual v forecast costsMonitor and tracking of costsInterfaces with: Senior Finance Manager, Site Project Team, HR and BB Newcastle and wider finance teamsLiaise with External: Suppliers and ContractorsWork with Clients stakeholders to facilitate audits monthly/quarterly provide samples of costs to enable audits and validation.Support Finance Manager and Commercial Lead in any ad-hoc analysis.
