About the Role:

To work under the direct instruction of our Assistant Head for Inclusion to:

· Provide 1:1 support for students who struggle with their social, emotional and mental health

· Provide in lesson support to students who are behaviourally challenging

· Plan and deliver individualised programmes of support to small groups of students to develop social and friendship skills

· Liaise with teachers and other support assistants about the needs and progress of children receiving support.

· Liaise with parents and care givers in line with school policy

About You:

We will provide the training you need to get off to a great start in this role. You will need:

· Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)

· Experience of working with children of secondary school age

· Ability to relate well to children and adults

· To be able to work well as part of a team

· To have an understanding of Safeguarding
