Contract: Permanent - Full time (nights)

Salary: 40, ,000 per year

Responsibilities

As a Highway Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be working through the night within the Area 3 contract for National Highways team, supporting them in the safe, effective and high quality delivery of the scheme.

Your day to day will include:

  • Safely delivering the project in line with SHE legislation and company policies e.g. 5 Basics, PUWER, LOLER, HAVS, 10 steps to safe digging, waste management etc.
  • Deliver and monitor daily briefings that they are tailored, specific to the works being undertaken and most importantly make a difference.
  • Ensure works are carried out to the correct design and specification, snagging as appropriate, with all remedial work being completed prior to signing off.
  • Effective works planning to maximise outputs, recording variations, communicating and approval before any additional tasks are undertaken.
  • Providing communication between all key stakeholders, including the general public to help minimise the impact of the works and improve the customer experience.

  • You have SSSTS or SMSTS
  • You have NRSWA supervisor card
  • Experience in Highways Maintenance at a supervisory level
