Sandwell Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team is seeking a dedicated full-time Neighbourhood Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer to join our team.

As a Neighbourhood ASB Officer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex anti-social behaviour cases, encompassing both Prevention and Enforcement issues. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that all performance targets are met, handling complaints promptly and effectively, and adhering to policy and guidance.

Based in one of Sandwell's six towns, your role will involve interviewing victims, witnesses, and perpetrators of ASB, collecting and assessing evidence, and taking decisive action to resolve issues. Additionally, you will prepare legal documents, liaise with legal teams, and advance cases through both civil and criminal courts, including drafting statements, compiling evidence files, attending court hearings, and serving court paperwork.

Key Qualifications:

Relevant experience in an ASB/Crime/Enforcement environment or a similar role.
Excellent communication skills with a strong capability to handle complex cases and diverse needs.
Comprehensive knowledge of both Civil and Criminal ASB legislation.
Proven track record of meeting targets and achieving positive outcomes.
