Our client Phoenix Tavinor Engineering Ltd is a reputable company located in Tamworth, seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Delivery Driver/General FLT Warehouse Worker.
Position: Delivery Driver/General FLT Warehouse Worker
Location: Tamworth
Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries from Tamworth to various locations.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as moving stock around the plant and emptying skips.
- Load delivery vehicles and perform standard vehicle checks.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- FLT license (Forklift Truck) is required.
- Experience loading delivery vehicles and performing standard vehicle checks.
- CPC for 7.5 tonner (ideally) but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work part-time (minimum 3 days per week) or full-time (5 days).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours: Generally 7:00am-4:30pm, with some flexibility required on occasion.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
